Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire director Gil Kenan has teased how the franchise’s future can extend beyond New York City even more. The newest film in the franchise brings its major characters back to the Big Apple, following Ghostbusters: Afterlife being set in the small town of Summerville, Oklahoma. This makes the latest installment the third out of four movies featuring the original cast to take place in the city setting.
