Madame Web has hit theaters and set a record for Sony’s Spider-Man villain movies with its disastrous Rotten Tomatoes scores. The unfortunate fate of the latest Marvel adaptation by Sony, rather fittingly, does not come as much of a surprise, as the trailer alone was enough to convince prospective audiences that the writing was on the wall. From the contents of just a few shots in the trailer came a deluge of Madame Web memes in a similar vein to the kind Morbius was subjected to; yet Madame Web has come off worse.
