As the anticipation builds for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), several nations are ramping up their preparations to deliver a stellar performance. Among the co-hosts – Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania – the pressure is high to execute a successful Championship, both on and off the field.

The latest update involves these nations, along with South Sudan, participating in a CECAFA Four Nations pre-CHAN tournament. The tournament will take place at the Karatu Stadium in Arusha, with Tanzania squaring off against Kenya, while Uganda takes on South Sudan on 24th July. The victors from these games will face each other on 27th July, and the losers from the initial matches will compete against one another as well.

Uganda has been in a non-residential camp for over ten days, while Kenya and Tanzania have recently assembled their teams. The CHAN 2024 tournament will commence on 2nd August and conclude on the 30th of the same month.
