Vipers Sports Club has officially secured the services of talented midfielder Enock Ssebagala, who has signed a two-year contract with the club. The 24-year-old, who previously played for NEC Football Club, expressed his enthusiasm about joining one of the region's most prominent teams.

"It is a new home for me," Ssebagala said, revealing that he will wear the number 8 jersey. "I am glad to be part of Vipers Sports Club. I want to thank the Almighty Lord and everyone who made this move possible. It is an honor to join such a big club, and I am ready to work hard, learn from my teammates, and contribute to winning more trophies for this great club and its fans."

Ssebagala arrives at Vipers following an impressive season with NEC FC, where he showcased his skills and versatility as a holding midfielder. However, he faces stiff competition in a crowded central midfield department that includes players like Paul Patrick Mbowa, Abdul Karim Watambala, Moses Waiswa, and Siraje Ssentamu, among others.

This signing marks Vipers' second major acquisition after the addition of Liberian forward Mark Yallah. The club is gearing up for the 2025-2026 season, where they will compete in domestic leagues and the prestigious CAF Champions League. Pre-season training is set to commence soon as the team prepares for the challenges ahead.

Ssebagala, born on July 28, 2000, has had a promising football journey, starting at Life Eternal Academy before moving on to Teresa, Express Football Club, and NEC FC. His experience and dedication are expected to bolster Vipers' midfield as they aim for continued success on both local and continental stages.

With his arrival, Vipers SC strengthens its squad depth, signaling their ambition to dominate Ugandan football and make a significant impact in African competitions.
