As the 2025-2026 Uganda Premier League season approaches, newly promoted Gaddafi FC has officially opened applications for the position of head coach. The club, which recently secured its place in the top tier, is seeking a seasoned and motivated leader to guide the team in its debut campaign.

In a statement released on their official website, Gaddafi FC emphasized the need for a coach with a CAF A certification and extensive experience in football management. The ideal candidate should possess strong tactical knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to foster a positive team environment. Additionally, the club is looking for someone who can adapt coaching strategies to suit diverse player abilities and learning styles.

“We are searching for an experienced, skilled, and motivated football coach to lead our team in the Uganda Premier League,” the statement read. “The candidate must have a deep understanding of football tactics, training methodologies, and player development, along with a commitment to building an inclusive team culture.”

Interested applicants have until Wednesday, July 7, 2025, to submit their applications. This announcement comes just two weeks after Gaddafi FC earned promotion to the Uganda Premier League, finishing the FUFA Big League season with 50 points under the guidance of coaches Allan Kabonge Kivewala and Robert “Kiyenje” Mukasa.

The club will join Calvary FC (52 points) and Buhimba United Saints (50 points) in the top division, with the new season set to commence in mid-September 2025. Gaddafi FC’s leadership is optimistic that the right coach will help the team establish a strong presence in the league.
