Crucial CAF Champions League Matchday 6: Quarter-Final Fates Hanging in the Balance
As the CAF Champions League group stage concludes, several teams face pivotal matches to secure quarter-final berths.
The 2025 Mr and Miss Central Region body building championship is set to take place on September 20th at the UMA show grounds in Lugogo, Kampala, featuring over 50 body builders competing in six weight categories. The event, organized by Supplex Gym, promises to be an exciting experience with top-notch organization, arm-wrestling competition, and various fitness categories.
The stage is set for the highly anticipated 2025 Mr and Miss Central Region body building championship, scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 20th, at the UMA show grounds in Lugogo, Kampala. The event, organized by Supplex Gym, promises to be an exciting experience with over 50 body builders competing in six weight categories: bantam, welter, lightweight, middle, light heavy, and heavy weight.
The competition will feature a range of categories, including men's physique, women's bikini, Persons With Disabilities (PWD), and fitness. An arm-wrestling competition will also be part of the event, adding to the excitement. The action is expected to start at noon, and fans are encouraged to attend in large numbers.
The defending champion, Daniel Mwesigwa, will be facing stiff competition from renowned body builders such as Hussein Mbajja Finito, Fahad Ssetimba, and Yaksh. The winner of the coveted title will take home a grand prize of 10 million Uganda shillings.
The event has attracted a number of sponsors and partners, including Uganda Fitness Elites, Rosefoam, J&L industries, Rz motorcycle Tubes and Brakes, NBS Sport, Buganda Kingdom, Fruit City, Victoria University, and Scott sports nutrition. The entry fees for the event are fixed at 20,000/= (Bronze), 50,000/= (Silver), 100,000/= (Gold), and 1,000,000/= (Table).
This championship is a precursor event for the prestigious Mr. Uganda championship coming up in November 2025. The top three body builders from the Central region will be joined by successful competitors from the Western, Eastern, and Northern regions.
The event will also pay tribute to the late Axam Kisseka, and preparations are underway to ensure a successful and memorable experience for all attendees.
