Rally enthusiasts are set to flock to Jinja in Eastern Uganda this weekend for the much-anticipated Bugerere Stabex EMC rally, the fourth round of the national championship. As the competition reaches its midpoint, the event is expected to bring clarity to the title race with just three rounds remaining.
Drivers across various categories are gearing up to deliver exhilarating performances, aiming to extend their lead over their rivals. All eyes will be on three-time national champion Ronald Sebuguzi, who currently tops the leaderboard with 142 points, as he takes the wheel of his Ford Fiesta Proto. Close on his heels is Musa Ssegaabwe, competing in a Mitsubishi Evo9, who trails by just 9.5 points.

Adding to the excitement is Hassan Alwi, who will debut his newly acquired Ford Proto in a competitive drive. A victory for Alwi could significantly shake up the championship standings. The rally will feature ten stages over two days, covering a total competitive distance of 145 kilometers.
