The KCCA Leopards delivered a dominant performance on Tuesday, securing a resounding 93-48 victory over Miracle Eaglets in the National Basketball League at Lugogo Indoor Arena. This win marked a sweet revenge for the Leopards, who had suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of the Eaglets earlier in the campaign.
The Leopards set the tone early, ending the first quarter with a narrow 20-18 lead. They continued to build momentum, extending their advantage to 17 points by halftime. The third quarter proved decisive as the Miracle Eaglets were held to just 10 points, leaving them trailing 38-70 heading into the final period.
Martha Soigi’s long-range shot capped off an impressive display, sealing the Leopards’ 45-point victory. Margaret Bagaala was the standout performer, recording a double-double with 34 points and 11 rebounds. Tracy Namugosa also shone, matching Bagaala’s 34-point tally, while Uwineza contributed 14 points in double digits.
For the Miracle Eaglets, only Isabella Namugabo (11 points) and Mariam Namukwaya (10 points) managed to reach double figures in what was a challenging outing for the team.
