All fighters, including Uganda's Frank "Black Fire" Kiwalabye, have passed medical exams ahead of the July 11 WBU Super Bantamweight World Title bout in Kampala.
With the highly anticipated WBU Super Bantamweight World Title fight just days away, all boxers on the July 11 card at Club Obligato in Kampala have successfully cleared their mandatory pre-fight medical evaluations. Leading the charge is Uganda’s own Frank “Black Fire” Kiwalabye, who is set to square off against Tanzania’s Karim Kisairo in a bid for the prestigious title.
The Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) confirmed that all fighters underwent comprehensive health assessments, including cardiovascular, neurological, and vision tests, as well as general physical evaluations. These checks ensure every athlete meets the safety standards required for professional competition.
“This is a crucial step in fight preparation,” stated a UBF representative. “We’re pleased to announce that all boxers are in excellent health and ready for the event. Fans can expect an exciting and safe night of boxing.”
Ziso Boxing Promotions, the event’s organizers, assured that all logistical preparations are on track, from medical clearances to venue readiness. With the WBU belt already in Uganda, the stage is set for what promises to be a historic night in the country’s boxing scene.
