Police FC Bolster Squad with High-Profile Signings Ahead of Season

Uganda Police Football Club continues its preparations for the 2025/26 season, officially confirming the arrival of two prominent players. The team has signed former SC Villa marksman Charles Bbaale and experienced midfielder Said Kyeyune, both joining under long-term contracts set to expire in 2027.

Bbaale, known for his scoring prowess and versatility in attack, brings a wealth of experience gained throughout East Africa and Uganda. After last season with Kenyan giants Gor Mahia, where he also previously played for Rayon Sport (Rwanda) and SC Villa, the striker aims to inject much-needed firepower into Police FC's frontline.

Kyeyune, on the other hand, adds considerable midfield depth and leadership qualities to the team. The midfielder joins from Express FC, a seven-time Ugandan Premier League champions. His playing history includes stints with URA, Proline, and Sudanese side Al Merriekh, further enriching the club's squad with international exposure.

These high-profile additions come as part of a broader recruitment drive. They join other recently unveiled new faces, Richard Matovu and Deus Bukenya. The signings are particularly timely as the club looks to build on a challenging season that saw them finish 11th in the standings with just 36 points, their first league victory in 19 years dating back to 2005.
