Reading FC Names Leam Richardson as New First-Team Manager

Reading FC has officially announced Leam Richardson as their new first-team manager, replacing Noel Hunt after a disappointing start to the League One campaign. The 45-year-old has signed a contract until summer 2027, tasked with steering the club away from relegation concerns.

Proven Track Record

Richardson brings experience from previous roles at Rotherham United and Wigan Athletic, where he secured the League One title in 2022. Despite recent setbacks—including Wigan’s Championship struggles and Rotherham’s relegation—his promotion-winning pedigree caught the attention of Reading’s ownership.
