Rockets Sports Club has officially announced dates for its much-anticipated annual Rockets Open Tournament, scheduled to take place from 14th to 15th February at the Lugogo Hockey Grounds.

The two-day tournament will bring together schools and various clubs, offering a competitive platform for young talents and established teams to showcase their skills while promoting grassroots and club-level sports development.

Confirming the event, the tournament’s organizing committee, led by Siraje Ramadhan and Mubiru Joseph, expressed confidence in a well-organized and exciting competition that will attract teams from different regions.

“This year’s Rockets Open Tournament is designed to be inclusive, competitive, and developmental, giving schools and clubs an opportunity to compete at a high level,” the organizers noted.

The tournament has grown into a key fixture on the local sports calendar, known for fostering talent, strengthening teamwork, and encouraging sportsmanship across participating teams.
