In today's football transfer gossip, Chelsea has been presented with an opportunity to acquire Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez for a reported £45 million, although the 32-year-old Argentine goalkeeper is believed to lean towards a move to Manchester United. 

Manchester United is reportedly prepared to initiate formal discussions over a deal to sign Martinez, following the potential sale of Cameroon keeper Andre Onana, 29.

Meanwhile, Liverpool's 22-year-old English defender, Jarell Quansah, is set to undergo a medical at Bayer Leverkusen on Monday, paving the way for a £35 million move to the German club.
