The UCU Canons continued their impressive run in the National Basketball League with a commanding 77-68 victory over the KIU Titans at Lugogo Indoor Arena. This win marks the Mukono-based team's third straight triumph, following earlier successes against the JKL Dolphins (66-59) and the Namuwongo Blazers (62-61).

The game began with the KIU Titans taking an early lead, ending the first quarter with a narrow 20-19 advantage. However, the Canons quickly turned the tide, securing a 36-32 lead by halftime. The third quarter saw UCU extend their dominance, with Carl Loum's jump shot capping off a strong period that left them ahead 57-46.

Despite a determined effort from the Titans in the final quarter, the Canons maintained their composure to clinch a nine-point victory. Carl Loum delivered a standout performance, recording a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Teammates Ibanda Lwabaga (23 points) and Ekirapa Zachariah (15 points) also made significant contributions, both scoring in double digits. For the KIU Titans, Daniel Odokonyero led the charge with 22 points, supported by Peter Akok's 15 points.
