Uganda's national cricket team, the Cricket Cranes, claimed their second consecutive victory during their South African tour with a tense two-wicket win against DP Lions on Sunday.

After winning the toss, Uganda opted to field against a reshuffled DP Lions lineup. The hosts started aggressively but struggled to form substantial partnerships, finishing at 158/9 in their 20 overs. Joseph Baguma spearheaded Uganda's attack with impressive figures of 3/19, supported by Frank Nsubuga (1/16) and Cosmas Kyewuta (1/28).

Dramatic Chase

Uganda's innings began disastrously, collapsing to 19/6 within five overs. The match turned dramatically through a 76-run partnership between Dinesh Nakrani and captain Riazat Ali Shah (41). Nakrani's 53-run half-century, combined with Juma Miyagi's 29, set the stage for Nsubuga to hit the winning runs in a nail-biting finish.

The team will face the Titans in their final warm-up match before traveling to Zimbabwe for the T20 World Cup Qualifiers, where they'll compete in Group B against Tanzania, Botswana, and host nation Zimbabwe.
