Vipers Sports Club recently visited Plascon's headquarters to celebrate their double victory and extend their partnership for another three years.
As Vipers Sports Club gears up for the upcoming season aiming for continental representation and defending their league and Uganda Cup titles, they have been actively engaging with key stakeholders such as fans, media, sponsors, and partners.
In a show of appreciation and celebration, a delegation from Vipers Sports Club, including players and officials, visited the Plascon head offices in Namanve industrial park on June 19, 2025. The visit included showcasing their league and Stanbic Uganda Cup trophies, speeches from both Plascon and Vipers representatives, interviews, and a tour of the factory.
During the visit, Milton Karisa, Vipers' captain, expressed gratitude for Plascon's continued support over the past four seasons, highlighting the importance of their partnership in the club's success. The strong bond between the two entities was evident as Plascon Managing Director, Santosh Gumte, welcomed the Vipers delegation with enthusiasm.
Gumte announced an extension of their partnership for another three years, with an investment of approximately 400 million Ugandan shillings. This renewed commitment includes financial support, marketing collaborations, and additional assistance to help propel Vipers Sports Club to greater heights.
Alex Luganda, Vipers Legal Director, emphasized the significance of Plascon's support, acknowledging them not just as sponsors but as integral to the club's achievements. The extension of the partnership was celebrated with the exchange of a commemorative plaque as a symbol of mutual respect and shared ambitions.
Following the formal proceedings, the Vipers delegation was treated to an exclusive tour of the Plascon Namanve factory, providing insights into the production processes behind Plascon's renowned paint products. The visit highlighted the alignment between Vipers' pursuit of excellence on the field and Plascon's commitment to quality and innovation in their industry.
