Daniel Dubois Sets Sights On Three Heavyweights Following Jarrell Miller Stoppage

On December 23, Daniel Dubois entered the ring with questions on his heart. The 26-year-old had been stopped in August by Oleksandr Usyk, raising doubts about his ability to dig deep.
Fortunately, ‘Big Baby’ Miller was the perfect opponent for Dubois’ return – plodding forward with his 333lbs frame for all ten rounds, allowing the Brit to keep moving and hold his stamina. Dubois was able to seize the momentum in the second half and stop Miller seconds before the final bell.

In the aftermath of the fight, Dubois told the media he was ready to take on the big names. “Frank Warren will do his job,” he said, “but I want all the big names now. I feel like I’ve gained the experience and I’ve improved bounds and leaps. And confidence-wise, I proved to myself I can dig deep tonight.” When asked for specifics, Dubois mentioned Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury and a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.

On the same night, Anthony Joshua beat Otto Wallin and is expected to face Filip Hrgovic early in 2024. Dubois now has his sights set on these three heavyweights, believing his “redemption and recovery process” have made him ready to take them on. He is aware of the need to mature and learn, but he is determined to win.
