David Corenswet has been shown in his new DC Universe costume in fan art ahead of his debut in 2025’s Superman. Following the announcement of the DCEU’s reboot into the new DCU, David Corenswet was confirmed to be cast as Clark Kent, a.k.a. Superman, in June 2023, alongside Rachel Brosnahan, who is set to portray Lois Lane. Originally titled Superman: Legacy, the DCU’s upcoming Superman reboot was one of ten projects announced by DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn in January 2023, and is scheduled to be released on July 11, 2025, as part of Chapter 1, titled “Gods and Monsters”.
