In a gripping UEFA Champions League encounter, Norwegian newcomers Bodo/Glimt secured a memorable 2-2 draw against Slavia Prague, overturning a two-goal deficit with a late Sondre Fet equalizer.

Defender Youssoupha Mbodji had given the hosts a commanding lead with goals in the 23rd and 74th minutes, both assists provided by the creative Lukas Provod. However, Bodo/Glimt staged a dramatic comeback, starting with Daniel Bassi’s 78th-minute strike before Fet’s stunning volleyed finish in the 90th minute.

The match saw several key moments, including a missed penalty by Kasper Hogh after Mbodji conceded a foul, and Provod hitting the post for Slavia. The Czech side also appealed for a first-half penalty, but VAR ruled against them due to an earlier foul.

Slavia dominated possession and created numerous chances, but visiting keeper Nikita Haikin made crucial saves to keep Bodo/Glimt in the game. Despite their strong performance, the hosts could not prevent the Norwegians from snatching a point in a thrilling finish.

Both teams will look to build on this result in their next Champions League fixtures, with Slavia Prague traveling to Inter Milan and Bodo/Glimt hosting Tottenham on September 30.
