Calvary FC, the newly promoted team to the Uganda Premier League, continues to face struggles as they lost their latest match against UPDF FC. This defeat marks the fifth loss in six games, deepening the club's worries.
On Wednesday, UPDF FC emerged victorious with a 1-0 win, thanks to a goal by Emmanuel Ochen. The game was played at Midigo Primary School Playground.
Adding to Calvary FC's challenges, head coach Jimmy Kintu Mwera parted ways with the club before the start of the season. He has since joined Express FC, replacing Badru Kaddu, who has also moved to NEC FC.
Calvary FC's poor start to the season includes four away games and two home games, both resulting in disappointment. As a result, the club remains at the bottom of the table with only one point.
