Prize Pool
Dream Team's fantasy football for the 2025/26 season is now open for aspiring managers. With a whopping total prize money exceeding £100,000, including various ways to win cash rewards, this season promises high stakes and excitement for all participants. The top prizes include £60,000 for the winner, £15,000 for the second place, and £5,000 for the third place, among other cash rewards.
In addition to the regular season prizes, there will be weekly rewards of £250 for the manager with the most points in each Gameweek. A Second Shot League will offer £5,000 in the latter half of the campaign. Furthermore, all participants in Gameweek 1 will have a chance to win a £5,000 prize draw, making the competition even more thrilling.
Team Selection
Managers will have a starting budget of £50 million to assemble their squad of eleven Premier League players. With various formations to choose from, such as 5-4-1, 5-3-2, 4-5-1, 4-4-2, and 4-3-3, participants can strategize and adapt their teams for optimal performance. Player prices will fluctuate based on their form, allowing managers to work the Dream Team stock market to increase the value of their squad.
Scoring Points
The scoring system in Dream Team is designed to reward individual performances effectively. Players can earn points for goals, assists, appearances, shots on target, successful tackles, and more. Captains and vice-captains play a crucial role, with their points being doubled in each Gameweek to potentially boost a team's overall score.
Eligible Competitions
Participants will not only accumulate points in the Premier League but also in other competitions like the Carabao Cup, FA Cup, Conference League, Europa League, and Champions League, excluding the European qualifying rounds. With nine English teams competing in European tournaments this season, there are ample opportunities to score points and climb the leaderboards.
Transfers and New Features
Transfers are a key strategic element in Dream Team, allowing managers to make changes to their squad based on performance. Each Gameweek, managers can make up to two transfers, with the option to carry over unused transfers to subsequent weeks. A new Substitute feature has been introduced this season, enabling managers to swap out players who have not played for those who are yet to feature in the same Gameweek.
With the 2025/26 Dream Team season offering exciting prizes, strategic gameplay options, and new features, football enthusiasts can look forward to an engaging and competitive fantasy football experience.
