Hilton High School Mukono, representing Uganda, is participating in the beach volleyball category at the ongoing FEASSA Games 2025 in Kakamega, Western Kenya. The team comprises four players: Abdul Hakim Kamanyire (S6), Godwin Seth Wamini (S5), Francis Odongkara (S4), and Denis Rubangakene (S5), led by the experienced coach Johnson Kawenyera.

Coach Kawenyera expressed confidence in his team's readiness for the competition, stating, "We are set for the best performance at the FEASSA Games. The courts have been set, and my players are ready to give the best of their abilities. We want to write a statement of intent at these games."

The beach volleyball matches are scheduled to take place at the Rehabilitation playground, opposite Masinde Muliiro University of Science and Technology in Kakamega. This year, beach volleyball joins DanceSport, Lacrosse, and Cricket as new additions to the FEASSA Games.

Hilton High School Mukono recently achieved the runners-up position at the 2025 USSSA Ball Games 2 held in Tororo. The school faces tough competition from champions Bukedea Comprehensive School, who are also expected to field a strong team.

The official opening ceremony of the games was held at the Bukhungu International Stadium on the afternoon of Friday, August 15, 2025, in the presence of numerous spectators. Dr. Julius Migos Ogamba, representing the Kenyan President, H.E William Kipchirchir Samoei Arap Ruto, marked the grand opening.

The FEASSA Games will continue until August 22, 2025. Uganda holds the title of the defending champions from the previous edition hosted in Bukedea district, Eastern Uganda, in 2024.
