The win, secured at the Lugogo Indoor Arena on Friday, places the Lady Dolphins in a commanding position with a 3-1 series lead. Another victory will seal the championship for the Lady Dolphins.
The Lady Jaguars started aggressively, opening with a 6-0 run. However, Hope Akello swiftly responded with a 3-point shot for the Lady Dolphins, igniting a competitive first quarter that ended in a 19-19 stalemate. Rhoda Nagitta's layup gave the Lady Jaguars a slight edge at halftime, trailing by just two points, 36-32.
The Lady Jaguars intensified their defense in the third quarter, restricting the Lady Dolphins to a mere eight points. This surge gave them a slim two-point lead, 46-44, heading into the final period. However, the Lady Dolphins turned on the pressure in the fourth quarter, outscoring their opponents to secure an eight-point victory.
