Despite Cameroon's efforts, Mali maintained their momentum in the third quarter, further stretching their lead to 17 points, ending the quarter with a score of 51-34.
The final quarter saw Mali dominating the game, ultimately securing a 26-point victory. Sika Kone led Mali's scoring with 15 points, followed by Kaddia Maiga with 13 points and Brahima Sangare with 10 points.
On the opposing side, Claude Belleke and Jessica Thomas were the only players from Cameroon to reach double-digit scoring, with 14 and 13 points respectively.
With this impressive win, Mali confirmed their spot in the quarterfinals of the Women's AfroBasket tournament, showcasing their strength and determination in the competition.
