Harry Maguire Receives Suspended Sentence After Mykonos Incident
Manchester United and England defender, Harry Maguire, has been given a 15-month suspended sentence by a Greek court for an incident that occurred in Mykonos in August 2020.
Manchester United's pursuit of Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo is reportedly nearing an agreement, adding a potential game-changer to the Red Devils' squad.

Manchester United's summer transfer window has been a rollercoaster ride, but the club may be on the brink of securing the services of Bryan Mbeumo. After a swift acquisition of Matheus Cunha from Wolves, United have set their sights on the Brentford forward, who has expressed a preference for a move to Old Trafford despite interest from Arsenal, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur.
Two bids from United have already been rejected by Brentford, with the latest offer worth £55 million upfront plus £7.5 million in add-ons. However, the Bees value Mbeumo, who registered 27 goal contributions last season, at over £63 million. Negotiations between the two clubs are progressing, with an agreement believed to be close as they work towards a compromise over the transfer fee.
Reportedly, United are increasingly confident that a deal will be struck, with further arrivals dependent on the club's ability to offload players to raise funds. Mbeumo's proposed salary at Manchester United is expected to be significantly higher than his current wage at Brentford, but still comfortably within the club's budget.
Adding Mbeumo to the squad would be a major boost as Manchester United looks to challenge at the top of the Premier League once again. While a new striker remains a priority for the Red Devils, it is not guaranteed that a signing in that position will occur. Should a deal for Mbeumo be finalized, additional signings will need to be financed by offloading players.
