In an interview with Spanish influencer Javi Ruiz, Rashford praised the 17-year-old Yamal, calling him a standout talent. When asked directly if he would like to join forces with the Barcelona prodigy, Rashford responded, "Yes, for sure. Everyone wants to play with the best. Hopefully... we'll see."

Barcelona's sporting director Deco has previously expressed admiration for Rashford, listing him alongside Liverpool's Luis Diaz as players the Catalan club "like." Rashford remains under contract with Manchester United for another three years, but his future at Old Trafford is uncertain amid ongoing squad restructuring under head coach Ruben Amorim.

Reflecting on Yamal's exceptional talent, Rashford added, "It's difficult to put into words what he's doing because he's not supposed to be doing that at 16 or 17. I don't think we've seen that before."
