Rapid Advancements in Christian Norgaard Transfer Talks: Arsenal and Brentford Nearing Deal
Arsenal's negotiations to secure the services of Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard are progressing at a rapid pace, with a potential deal valued at approximately £12m on the horizon. Sources report that Arsenal's offer consists of an initial guaranteed fee of around £9.5m, with the Denmark international expressing a keen interest in the move.
The talks are expected to reach a conclusion in the coming days, with personal terms not anticipated to be a stumbling block. This potential acquisition comes as Arsenal seeks to address the looming departure of Thomas Partey, whose contract at the Emirates Stadium is set to expire soon.
Partey's representatives have received offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia and Europe, and as of now, the Ghanaian international is expected to leave the Gunners when his contract expires next week.
So far, Arsenal has yet to make a signing this summer, but it is anticipated that goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga will arrive in London this week to finalise a £5m switch from Chelsea to the Gunners.
