Emerging Ugandan artist Dax Vibez has opened up about the brutal reality of his early career struggles, detailing humiliating incidents where audiences rejected his performances.

In a candid revelation, the singer described being chased off stages and subjected to insults during his debut period. "My first time performing live ended with the crowd demanding I leave," Vibez recounted. "I faced immense challenges learning directly on stage - flatted notes, voice cracks, everything that could go wrong did."

Vibez emphasized that these painful experiences ultimately shaped his artistry. "Those harsh lessons became my training ground. Where I once failed publicly, I now perfect my craft before live audiences," the musician reflected.

The "Tabbu" hitmaker shared particularly harrowing moments, including an incident with fellow artist Zex Bilangilangi where spectators hurled bottles at them mid-performance. "Through all the humiliation, we persevered," Vibez stated. "When chased off stage once, I confronted the crowd asking if they'd invited me - such experiences forged our resilience."

The singer pinpointed his breakthrough moment to performing "Believe" at Karole Kasita's concert just one month after the song's release. "That stage transformed everything," Vibez recalled. "Seeing the audience embrace my music made years of struggle worthwhile - that night, my dreams crystallized."
