Tottenham Hotspur finalized a Deadline Day agreement to sign Randal Kolo Muani on a temporary deal from Paris Saint-Germain, marking their eighth summer acquisition. The 26-year-old French international joins without an option or obligation to buy, reinforcing Spurs’ frontline following the exit of captain Heung-Min Son and an ACL injury to playmaker James Maddison.

Kolo Muani, who scored eight goals in 16 Serie A appearances during a loan spell at Juventus last season, will wear the No. 39 shirt. His arrival follows the signing of Dutch talent Xavi Simons as part of manager Thomas Frank’s overhaul, which also includes additions like Mohammed Kudus and João Palhinha.

“I’m thrilled to join such a historic club,” Kolo Muani told Tottenham’s official channels. “I’ll fight for the badge and give everything for the fans. The coach’s vision aligns with my strengths, and I’m ready to contribute.”

Frank emphasized the striker’s versatility, stating: “Randal brings Champions League experience and a dynamic presence. He can operate centrally or out wide, offering tactical flexibility we’ve lacked.”

PSG initially signed Kolo Muani in 2023 for £77.7m from Eintracht Frankfurt, but limited playing time led to his Serie A loan. Tottenham’s move comes as Sky Sports expands Premier League coverage to 215 live matches this season, with 80% exclusive to their platforms.

The deal underscores Spurs’ ambition to compete domestically and in Europe, with Frank’s revamped squad now featuring a blend of youth and proven performers.
