Uganda is set to host the prestigious Africa Seniors Squash Championship in November 2025. The event, scheduled to take place from the 17th to the 22nd in Kampala, will feature teams from across Africa, alongside the host nation. The Uganda Squash Rackets Association (USRA) is spearheading the preparations for the championship.

Participating nations are expected to include Egypt, South Africa, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya, among others. The competition will consist of team events (three players plus one reserve) and individual categories.

Shiffah Nantambi, the General Secretary of the USRA, has stated that the organization is actively seeking sponsors and partners to support the championship. "We are getting set to have a successful Africa seniors squash championship this November in Kampala," she noted. "We apply humbly to sponsors and other partners to come and work with us to make the event a success."

The total prize money for the tournament is $15,000 (approximately Ugandan Shillings 55,500,000). The Government of Uganda, through the National Council of Sports (NCS), is the main sponsor. Organizers have also confirmed provisions for free airport transfers and accommodation for teams. The upcoming championship represents a significant event for the African squash calendar, showcasing talent from the continent's senior players.
