Uganda's Defense Attaché in Burundi: Gen. James Birungi Replaces Gen. Birungi Amidst Ongoing Investigations
The Chief of Defense Forces, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has reassigned Maj. Gen. James Birungi, previously commanding the Uganda People's Defense Forces (UPDF) Mountain Infantry Division, to Burundi as Uganda's Defense Attaché and Military Advisor.
