In a significant escalation of the ongoing conflict, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has called upon the nation's citizens to unite in the face of what he terms "criminal aggression" directed at Iran. During a parliamentary meeting on Monday, Pezeshkian highlighted the need for resilience and solidarity among Iranians, asserting that the country has made efforts towards diplomacy and dialogue.
"We must stand together and confront the hostile actions aimed at our nation," Pezeshkian declared. He expressed confidence that the Iranian spirit cannot be crushed by violence and terrorism, stating, "The enemy cannot destroy Iran and its people through murder and terrorism. There are hundreds of other heroes who will carry the banner and continue the path after every targeted attack."
The Iranian president emphasized that although his country does not aspire to develop nuclear weapons, it firmly believes in its right to utilize nuclear energy and engage in research that serves the interests of its populace.
