An early first look has been revealed for the upcoming Disney movie Mufasa: The Lion King. The project, which is being helmed by Academy Award winning director and screenwriter Barry Jenkins, is a follow-up to the 2019 live-action remake The Lion King, which was a CGI-rendered adaptation of the 1994 smash hit animated movie of the same name. It will follow the younger years of Simba’s father Mufasa (Aaron Pierre), featuring the return of Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, Billy Eichner as Timon, and John Kani as Rafiki.
