The viral Oompa Loompa actor from the Glasgow Wonka experience has shared her story. The event, which was called “Willy’s Chocolate Experience” despite not actually licensing the Roald Dahl character implied by the name, promised an immersive experience celebrating chocolate and quickly ended in disaster. Many elements of the ramshackle and quickly canceled event went viral, including images of the sparsely decorated warehouse in which it took place and a distressed-looking Oompa Loompa in front of a candy station decorated with what appears to be a chemistry set.
