Drive-Away Dolls has had a disappointing opening weekend. The movie is the first solo narrative feature from director Ethan Coen, who is best known for co-directing movies with his brother Joel including The Big Lebowski, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, No Country for Old Men, and True Grit. It stars Margaret Qualley and Geraldine Viswanathan as a pair of friends whose spontaneous Tallahassee road trip accidentally lands them in the middle of a web of criminal activity when they pick up a car meant to carry a mysterious package into town.
