The G.I. Joe movie franchise’s future gets an optimistic update from Snake Eyes star Henry Golding. Based on the beloved Hasbro toy line, the first live-action G.I. Joe movie was released in 2009, proving successful enough to warrant a sequel, which hit theaters in 2013. Golding stepped into the role of Snake Eyes for the 2021 movie of the same name, but the film was a disappointment both critically and commercially. The future of the franchise had been somewhat in question until the end of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, which teases a crossover.
