Imaginary Box Office Is Horror Win For Blumhouse Despite 3rd Place Opening

Imaginary Box Office Is Horror Win For Blumhouse Despite 3rd Place Opening

Blumhouse’s Imaginary is already set for success despite a lukewarm performance on the box office chart. The new movie was directed by Jeff Wadlow, who helmed the previous Blumhouse titles Truth or Dare and Fantasy Island. With a cast that includes DeWanda Wise, Tom Payne, Pyper Braun, and Betty Buckley, the movie follows a woman whose stepdaughter forms an attachment to her old teddy bear Chauncey, though her bond with the supposedly imaginary friend grows more and more violent and disturbing.
