A month before its release, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes director Wes Ball takes to social media to defend the film’s use of CGI. The fourth film in the live-action reboot franchise, the movie will take place many years after the reign of Caesar and follow Noa, a young chimp who resists the evil reign of the film’s villain, Proximus Caesar. The cast of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes includes Owen Teague as Noa, Kevin Durand as Proximus Caesar, and Freya Allen as Mae. The film will come out May 10.
