Matt Damon & Bourne Franchise Director’s 2010 War Movie Accuracy Fails To Impress Expert

Green Zone, a 2010 war movie starring Matt Damon, fails to impress an Iraq War veteran. Directed by Paul Greengrass, the filmmaker responsible for all the Damon Bourne movies except for the first, Green Zone follows Damon’s Chief Warrant Office Roy Miller as he goes rogue in Iraq to investigate faulty intelligence regarding weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in the region. The film, which also stars Amy Ryan, Brendan Gleeson, and Jason Isaacs, earned mixed reviews from critics and was a major flop at the box office.
