Bebe Cool Declines Collaboration with Bobi Wine Citing Political Differences

Two renowned Ugandan musicians, Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine, have a long history together, having been part of the Firebase Crew. Despite Bebe Cool's significant role in Bobi Wine's music career, their relationship has been strained for almost two decades due to unresolved disagreements.

Bebe Cool expressed that a collaboration between them is unfeasible at present as Bobi Wine's involvement in politics has clouded his judgment. He emphasized that for any collaboration to happen, Bobi Wine needs to open his mind and show respect for individuals with differing viewpoints.

Speaking on the matter, Bebe Cool mentioned that he has not engaged in any meaningful conversation with Bobi Wine for a considerable period. Their last encounter dates back to Eddy Kenzo's concert at Serena Hotel in Kampala in 2019.

The Gagamel boss elaborated that the current political climate has created an obstacle to any potential collaboration, emphasizing the need for mutual respect regardless of differing opinions. Bebe Cool reiterated that until Bobi Wine shifts his perspective on politics, a collaboration between them remains off the table.
