British boxing fans are set for a historic showdown as Olympic medalist Caroline Dubois prepares to battle three-division champion Terri Harper in a lightweight title unification clash. The April 5 event at London's Olympia will mark the first UK promotion by Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions, airing live on Sky Sports.
Champion vs Rising Star
The 23-year-old Dubois (12-0) brings her WBC championship to the ring against Harper's WBO belt, creating one of the most significant matchups in women's boxing. "This is the fight I've wanted," Dubois told Sky Sports. "We're both bringing world titles to the table - there's so much at stake here."
"I've more than whatever she has - more skill, ability, and power. This is my chance to prove I belong at the top level."
Road to Unification
Dubois has rapidly ascended the ranks since turning professional after the Tokyo Olympics, defeating Maria Moneo for the interim WBC title in 2024 before being elevated to full champion status. Harper (22-2-2) brings extensive experience, having captured world titles at super-featherweight, super-welterweight, and lightweight during her accomplished career.
Historic Undercard
The event also features Ellie Scotney attempting to become Britain's youngest undisputed champion in the four-belt era when she faces Mayelli Flores. "This is my toughest challenge yet," Scotney said. "I'm ready to bring that south London fighting spirit to make history."
Boxing enthusiasts can catch all the action live on Sky Sports on Sunday, April 5, as British women's boxing takes center stage in what promises to be a landmark night for the sport.
