James Marsden confirms that filming on Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has been completed, looking back on his time as part of the trilogy and offering praise for Jim Carrey’s energetic portrayal of Doctor Robotnik. Released in 2020, the first Sonic the Hedgehog movie brought Ben Schwartz’s portrayal of SEGA’s iconic video game character to Earth. The success paved the way for more character introductions, such as Idris Elba’s Knuckles and Colleen O’Shaughnessey’s Tails, in 2022’s Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 will carry on from the last story, introducing Sonic’s rival and fan-favorite character Shadow.
