The Mandalorian star Brendan Wayne – one of three actors who play Din Djarin – has hinted he considers Disney’s movie plans a threat to the Disney+ streaming service. The last few years have seen Lucasfilm focus on a wide range of Star Wars TV shows; the studio was partly driven by critical and box office failures, and partly by a Disney-mandated corporate priority to generate content for Disney+. Now, Lucasfilm is pivoting back toward the big screen, and there’s some evidence The Mandalorian season 4 has even been adapted into the next movie.
