Paul Ince, the celebrated former England and Premier League midfielder, has been charged with drink driving after a single-car accident in Cheshire. The 57-year-old, renowned for his illustrious playing career with clubs including West Ham, Manchester United, Inter Milan, and Liverpool, was arrested on 28 June following a collision involving a black Range Rover that struck the central reservation on Chester High Road in Neston.
According to Cheshire Constabulary, police responded to reports of the crash at approximately 5pm. Officers found a man in his 50s at the scene and subsequently arrested him. Ince, who resides on Quarry Road in Neston, has been bailed and is scheduled to appear at Chester Magistrates' Court on 18 July.
