Police Recover Suspected Human Body Parts in Kampala on Christmas Day
Kampala police are tracking for unknown individuals who dumped suspected human body parts in Kampala city on Christmas Day. The body parts that were recovered on Boxing Day at Namere zone, Kanyanya, Kawempe division are said to be of a woman who is yet to be identified.
Evidence Collected at the Scene
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango, the body of this unknown man in his 20s was chopped by assailants and stuffed into three polythene bags. Detectives also picked a pair of blue gloves with suspected blood stain parked in a black bag, a green pilow case with suspected blood stains a towel.
Police Investigation
Onyango said that this heinous crime could have been committed from else where and the body was dumped near the swamp at Namere in Kanyanya. He appealed to any member of public with a missing person to cross check at Mulago city mortuary where the body parts were conveyed.
Police Remains on High Alert
Meanwhile, he said police and sister security agencies are still on high alert to keep the public and their property safe throughout this festive season.
